Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

The App works fully without an account and, used that way, does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The App does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies of any kind.

Creating an account is optional. Only if you create one do we handle the data described under “User Accounts (optional)”.

Data Stored on Your Device

Your favorite stations and recently played history are stored locally on your device. Without an account this information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party. You can remove it at any time by deleting the App.

User Accounts (optional)

Creating an account is optional and serves one purpose: syncing your favorite stations and their order across your devices. If you do not sign in, the App never contacts our server.

If you create an account, we store on our server (api.cnoeradio.app, hosted in the European Union) your email address, your name if you provide one, and your favorites, recents and their order. Passwords are never stored in plain text — only as a bcrypt hash. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we instead store the stable identifier they issue plus your email; we receive no other profile data.

We do not store your song history, your location, or any data about when or how much you listen. You can delete your account from within the App: deletion is immediate and permanent, and takes all of that data with it.

Third-Party Services

Station listings (names, logos, and stream URLs) are provided by the Radio Browser project (radio-browser.info), a free, community-driven directory. When you browse or search for stations, requests are sent to Radio Browser's servers.

When you play a station, your device connects directly to that station's streaming server. These servers are operated by the respective broadcasters and may log connection data (such as your IP address) according to their own privacy policies. We have no control over these third-party services.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
